IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

 
  1. Applications are to be submitted on-line only and print out of the Acknowledgement Slip should be sent by Post along with enclosures. No other form of application will be entertained. Please read the advertisement carefully before applying on-line.
     
  2. There are three options available in the ‘Application Form’ link. They are (1) Application form for fresh candidates (2) Application Form for candidates who appeared for the written test held against Recruitment Notice No.02/2009 held on 14.02.2010 and (3) Application form for dependents of deceased employee. Candidates have to select the category as the case may be. “Application form for fresh candidates” is meant for candidates who are applying first time and not appeared for written test held on 14.02.2010 against Employment Notice No.02/2009. All fresh candidates including dependents of deceased BHEL employees and ex-serviceman (except SC/ST/PH) have to necessarily pay the examination fee of Rs.125/- in any of the State Bank of India branches in India into Power Jyoti Account No. 33300538192 in favour of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Ramachandrapuram, Hyderabad. The triplicate challan for payment of examination fee of Rs.125/- + Bank charges can be downloaded from the web-site. The Journal number given by the bank on payment of examination fee needs to be entered in the on-line Application form. The examination fee once paid is not refundable.
     
  3. Candidates who had appeared for the written test held on 14.02.2010 against Employment Notification No. 02/2009 are required to apply again. Such candidates have to select the second option i.e. “Application Form for candidates who appeared for the written test held against Recruitment Notice No.02/2009 held on 14.02.2010”. On selecting this option and pressing the submit button, they will be prompted to enter the roll number of the earlier written test and upon entering the roll number, the system will open their old application form. The Columns-06, 11, 17, 18 & 19 are editable for incorporating changes, if any. All other columns are non-editable. After incorporating changes, if any, in the editable columns, press ‘submit’. The acknowledgement slip will be generated and use the ‘print’ option for taking print out of the acknowledgement slip. The roll number of earlier written test can be obtained through the system itself by answering the queries that are displayed. In case of any difficulty in obtaining the earlier roll number through the system, the same can be obtained by calling Help Desk (No.040-23183587/23184247). Candidates who paid the examination fees in 2009 and wrote the written test on 14.02.2010 are exempted from paying the examination fee for the current recruitment.
     
  4. Candidates belonging to dependents of deceased employees, may use the third option available in the Application Form link i.e. “Application form for dependents of deceased employee” for submitting the on-line application. Details such as deceased employee’s staff number, date of death, Unit last worked etc. are must for completing the on-line application. Deceased employee’s dependent means “spouse/son/unmarried daughter of a BHEL employee who died while in service”. The examination fee of Rs.125/- + Bank charges has to be paid in any of the SBI Branches by way of Bank Challan by the dependents of deceased employees.
     
  5. After submitting on-line application, in all the cases as stated in Sl.Nos.2, 3 & 4, the print out of Acknowledgement Slip along with copy of applicable enclosures have to be sent to Post Bag No.9, Mukhya Dak Ghar, BHEL, RC Puram H.E, RC Puram, Hyderabad-502032 . The Acknowledgement Slip has to be signed by the candidate and a recent photograph of the candidate has to be affixed at the space provided. Please keep sufficient number of your photos with you as the same photo should be used in case you are selected to the next stage of this recruitment process.
     
  6. Categories such as OBC, SC, ST and PH should be carefully filled up in the on-line application format as this will not be allowed to be changed at a later date. The category once declared, if found to be false later at any stage will render the candidate liable for suitable action including termination and prosecution.
     
  7. Vacancies for OBC category are meant only for those coming under the non-creamy layer. The caste certificate in the format prescribed by the Central Government issued by the competent authority and obtained on or after 14.09.2012 is only valid. Candidates belonging to OBC category but not covered under Non-Creamy Layer should indicate their category as GENERAL.
     
  8. Employees of Government/semi-government/public sector undertakings/autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel OR enclose copy of NOC, OR produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview.
     
  9. Candidates, who have left a PSU after availing Voluntary Retirement, if selected, will be required to return the VRS compensation received to the PSU concerned.
     
  10. No request for transfer or change in place of posting shall be entertained for the first five years of service including the one year of temporary period before regularization.
     
  11. Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the essential eligibility criteria prescribed for the post for which they have applied. If at any stage during selection or after selection it is found that the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility conditions OR that the facts furnished/documents attached are not correct, then the selection/appointment of the candidate can be cancelled at any time without assigning any reasons.
     
  12. BHEL reserves the right to re-schedule/cancel/restrict/enlarge the recruitment process without assigning any reasons and alter the terms and conditions at any time during the process due to any exigency. The decision of the management will be final and no appeal will be entertained.
     
  13. Any form of canvassing will be a disqualification and will render the candidates ineligible for selection.
     
  14. Candidates are advised to possess a valid e-mail ID and mobile number which are to be entered in the on-line application form. They are also advised to retain this e-mail ID active, as any important intimation/instruction to them mayl be provided by BHEL through e-mail and/or announced in our Web Site.

  16. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates not invited/selected for the written test or interview.
     
  17. Acknowledgement slips received after the last date will not be entertained. BHEL will not be responsible for any postal or other transit delays.

  19. Candidates will have to appear for the written test at their own expense. However, candidates called for attending interview will be paid second class to and fro rail fare from the starting station or the mailing address whichever is nearer to the place of interview and back by the shortest route on production of proof of journey.
     
  20. Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/or an application in response thereto shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Hyderabad.
     
  21. If there is any variation between the English and Hindi versions of the advertisement, the English version may be treated as authentic.

 

Attachments
After submission of on-line application, the candidates shall send the print out of the Acknowledgement Slip along with the following applicable enclosures to Post Bag No.9, Mukhya Dak Ghar, BHEL, RC Puram H.E, RC Puram, Hyderabad-502032. The copies of documents shall be self-attested by the candidates.

  • Challan (BHEL copy) for having paid the examination fee wherever applicable

  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-Non Creamy Layer)

  • OBC Non-creamy layer certificate

  • Medical Certificate issued by the Medical Board (Physically challenged candidates only)

  • Discharge and trade proficiency certificates (Ex-Servicemen only)

  • Letter issued by the Directorate General of Employment and Training (All India Apprentices Competitions – Best Apprentice and Runner up Apprentice) – if applicable

  • Domicile certificate (J&K Candidates only)

  • Experience certificate for claiming age relaxation

  • For dependents of deceased employees only

    1. Undertaking by spouse of the deceased employee.

    2. Undertaking regarding marital status.

    3. Undertaking that no family member is employed in any organization of State Government / Central Government or any listed company.

IMPORTANT
Please do not send any original certificates along with the Acknowledgement Slip. Original certificates are to be produced at the time of interview only, if called.
